This is a terrible bird ID guide. Even at $10 for on line version it was a waste of money. It has one picture of each bird with NO written description of physical appearance/field marks. Instead it wastes valuable space giving you the common name in 16 languages. It is not organized like every other field guide I've seen regarding order of families. The ":table of contents" page lists the order of families but ONLY IN LATIN and has no page numbers. There is no place to enter a bird name and have it go there. Therefore one is forced to just scroll through to try and find a bird you're looking at. Although there is a description of habitat, no description or map of where in Yucatan bird is found. I ordered this when I was on vacation in the Yucatan and gave up trying to use it. Had more success using my 1973 version of Peterson's Birds of Mexico. Is there not a current decent field guide for Mexican Birds?
